well here in AZ, spring is in the air. With a high of 80 and the sun shining, I can't help but think of spring fashion & decor. Love the pairing of coral-pink tones and turquoise.

jenna's picks today, have everything to do with the kitchen & entertaining!

I hosted my first real dinner party yesterday with lot's of help from my guy. {yes he did} It was thanksgiving in October, I roasted my first turkey and it came out fabulous! I will show pictures of my table scape later this week....I love an organic natural setting.

I am recently LOVING everything Giada. This woman is genius. Not until you host a dinner party do you realize what you need in the kitchen. Egg plate and ikat bowls are from anthro {looove them}. Cake pedestal is from Crate & Barrel and is a must have!

thevogue Paris October cover issue is celebrating 90 years. Who doesn't want to incorporate a little sparkle or fur {faux ok} into their wardrobe for fall?

the Kardashians always do b l a c k well. Kim recently said she is really loving nude + black...so very stunning!

JENNA'S PICKS 8.23.10

This week Jenna's picks are all about color! I've been focusing on neutrals with pops of bold color for my living room. One great way to make neutrals work is by adding texture & various shades of neutral together. A stripe will go along way & really makes a statement. 

The carved table adds a nice pop of color & texture in a neutral bathroom.

Mustard + gray + white = a lovely space. You can do no wrong with this amazing bed.

I always love a neutral sofa to allow for pops of color added with pillows, rugs and accessories. This space has a lush casual elegance about it, contributed by the velvet + silk pillows. In my own home I have noticed a velvet pillow really steps it up a notch. Just give it a try, you will be surprised. The fabric of your pillows will really set the tone for your space.

My picks this week are totally bias. {not that they usually aren't ;)}

Is or just me or does that chandelier scream FUN?! I think it would look GREAT in my newly designed office. {more on that later this week!} The mirror via the beloved Anthro would also look great in my office above the dressers. I have always loved these glasses and would just LOVE a set.

Last but not least...... iphone 4 in white. Are you kidding me! I HAVE TO HAVE THIS PHONE. :) Well not have to, but you catch my drift....the many things you can do with this phone is awesome. I'm currently sporting a blackberry via Verizon....it just can't do what this can. The white iphones aren't available via pre-sale online today...{today was the first day to buy before they are in stores June 24th} Yes, I have done my research. So I hope the white is available soon, cause I just gottttttta have it.

JENNA'S PICKS 4.26.10

My inspiration this week for Jenna's picks is from the flower arrangement in the first image courtesy of elle decor. I just love the blue + magenta color combination with florals as well as accessories.

I planted a flower garden this weekend with dahlias and roses in variations of pinks, yellows and whites. I can't wait to put together my first arrangement from my garden.

Inspired by the vibrant color blue I bought 2 of the Capri candles from Anthro this weekend. {Smells SO GOOD, I can smell them even when they are not lit} I then styled them very Anthro-esque with birdseed in a large hurricane. See image below of my fireplace mantle. Once the candle is burned up I plan on reusing the glass jar as a vase for a bud arrangement!

I have so many picks to show you this week! I adore the simplicity + serene vibe of the bedrooms, both designed by Thom Filicia. The Calvin Klein dress was pulled from the latest Elle Decor Mag. {I plan on hunting this dress down, no leads yet!} Fashion is from none other than Nordstrom. Enjoy!

What can I say, I have been inspired by classic design & style recently more than ever. I love the combination of bed linens in this bedroom featured on Living Etc. Not to mention the Louis Vuitton stacked luggage as a side table. I really want this button down top, it comes in 2 colors!

Don't you just love the sleek look of this kitchen? This chunky tassel throw is so soft! I spotted this while purchasing my new pendant. I just love West Elm.

I knew I had to use this gorgeous bedroom as soon as I spotted it at freckleschick, in my picks this week. This bed is stunning, I love the simplicity with the rest of the design which allows the bed to POP against the black wall. This dress is so very chic, yet so cheap!
