TEXTILES {RUBELLI}

rubelli.

It's been far to long between posts. My apologies! I've been a very busy girl as far as work. I was in LA and Laguna last week shopping for a client. We visited the PDC {Pacific Design Center} and little Melrose. Went in to all the wonderful showrooms, it was a great trip. This home is going to be Italian , old world -esque and the "guest suites" are going to be southwestern.

The main house is very grand in scale, and finishes will be beautifully done. It's a very exciting project and I am thrilled to be working on it. Thus why I am showing you Rubelli textiles. Beautiful fabrics with old Italy in mind. We will be selecting fabrics very soon. While we are pulling from multiple fabric houses, I really wanted you to know about Rubelli , Bergamo {also associated is Donghia.} Rubelli can tend to go modern on modern pieces, but when put on a wingback or armchair can look very old world.

LUXE WHITE INTERIOR

white interiors are remarkably stylish in my eye. All white certainly is not for everyone. I myself would like pops of color in artwork throughout the home. I especially like all white in the bedroom, it just evokes a feeling of luxury.

BACK TO BACK

hello back to back sofa. Who doesn't love this? Granted it takes a grand space to have the opportunity to pull it off. Well done here. I love the funky moroccan end table and I am hoping the other side has the same. Drapes = drama.  I am not crazy about the skirted table cloth on the low coffee table on the left, just sayin.

Things have been crazy, hence my lack of posts recently. The good news is at work we have signed 2 new clients in the past 2 weeks. Actually GREAT news.

hello natural light. I spy a beautiful pillow that would look lovely on my sofa. My knees are weak over the herringbone wood floors.

hello contrast, I love you. The dark charcoal walls against the white make this dining room really pop. In this case I don't think it makes the space look small. This is a good example of dark colors done right.

PHOTO SHOOT...

Hellooooo almost the weekend again!

 I am off to my first interior photo shoot tonight. I am very excited. Yesterday my boss & I brought in accessories and artwork to jazz it up a bit. It's a beautiful contemporary home that overlooks a golf course and amazing view of Scottsdale. That's about all I can share about the home.

In short art, flowers & fruit go along ways in a shoot!

NY DESIGNER {TODD ALEXANDER ROMANO}

Designer Todd Alexander Romano. His unique mixture of modern + classic furniture is intriguing. I just love this first image. It is beautifully styled and a great vignette, this appears to be an entry space.

 

The x stools make for wonderful versatile seating!

Dramatic paint color paired with the cognac leather + zebra really make this study inviting.

One of my favorite elements....chevron wood flooring! The large window let's in a lot of natural light that reflects off the neutral paint. The room is grounded by furniture in a deeper hue. I love how the green chair really pops!
