Dining Room PENDANT {Finally}

That's right, I finally decided on the new fixture for over our dining table. I chose this pleated pendant from West Elm. I LOVE it. My guy will be installing it this week. Stay tuned for pictures.

Skona Hem {Romance}

A dose of some much needed Skonahem with a Valentine color palette! I just adore the cozy elegance of Swedish i n s p i r e d  interiors. The simple white palette, as you probably already know, is something I am trying to slowly work into my own home. Pops of color and organic, natural elements are a must in my home.

Khaki is all the rage for spring. This dining space has an understated elegance that I just can't get enough of. What do you think about Khaki? I'm going to make sure I add it to my wardrobe ASAP.

Design Love {High Fashion Home}

Design Love this week is all about High Fashion Home. Have you heard of them? If not, let me introduce you to this mecca of home furnishings and decor.  High Fashion Home is located in Midtown Houston, Texas. {High Fashion Home, if you are listening...I wish we had one here in Scottsdale, AZ}. They have a very unique collection of merchandise. I would love to visit the store one day! Until then I can browse + shop online! They also have a Blog which you can visit here. 

Here is a Living & Dining Room "look" I have put together....If only it was all mine! This would look great in my home. :) How about the GREEN? I am digging it!

Mi Vida Bonita {Dining Room}

Another fabulous week, at least make it one! :)

This is my dining room which I painted this weekend. I am so in LOVE with the color. It’s Behr paint + primer and is from their LOW VOC line, called Intellectual. I decided the soffit that frames the kitchen needs to be painted as well. {will tackle this when we paint the bedroom wall this color too} Also this calls for an updated light fixture…because the 80s light/fan fixture just isn’t working!

*Any suggestions on a fixture? Keep in mind high style on a budget!

I am working on my art wall, I plan on using some prints from my ETSY shop found here, along with photographs from our travels. I also touched up the kitchen cabinets this weekend too, but that’s a whole other post coming this week!

I N S P I R A T I O N {Dining Area}

I really like the collection of artwork on this wall. I think it is a great way to bring in color along with a collection of fabulous art. 

I am using this as an I N S P I R A T I O N for my dining area, which I am painting a deep gray this weekend! The color is called intellectual, and its yummy. We are touching up the kitchen cabinets this weekend too, and once all is completed I will be posting pictures. So stay tuned!
