I have so many picks to show you this week! I adore the simplicity + serene vibe of the bedrooms, both designed by Thom Filicia. The Calvin Klein dress was pulled from the latest Elle Decor Mag. {I plan on hunting this dress down, no leads yet!} Fashion is from none other than Nordstrom. Enjoy!

To MAKE or NOT to MAKE

Your bed? What do you do? I usually make my bed every morning or else I think about a messy bed all day long, and that makes me crazy. 

The following bedrooms were styled with messy beds....I am not going to lie, it sort of bugs me. They are still lovely designed bedrooms, so I'm looking past the disheveled linens.

I knew I had to use this gorgeous bedroom as soon as I spotted it at freckleschick, in my picks this week. This bed is stunning, I love the simplicity with the rest of the design which allows the bed to POP against the black wall. This dress is so very chic, yet so cheap!

::Happy Valentine's Day LOVES::

Ok, I admit. I have said it before, I really do love Valentine's Day. I always have regardless is I was single or in a relationship. Well today I cannot wipe the smile off my face. My guy left me a note saying "Happy Valentines Day, I couldn't wait"....with a necklace and ring that I have been wanting on the dining table this morning. Mind you I showed him this in Dec. around Christmas time! Then I get a dozen red roses delivered to work along with a box of chocolates. So, so very sweet of him. I thought we agreed no gifts, but he has decided to spoil me otherwise. {awww, mushy I know}

Just wanted to leave with a these two great Valentine i n s p i r e d bedrooms found via Decorpad. I love the bed in the first image, so GLAM. 

Oh and also, I am sick of my long locks & I am considering cutting off 5-6 inches for a shorter sleeker look. What do you think? My appointment is Feb. 20th, I'm going to take the plunge! Here are my  inspiration picks for my new style!

Skona Hem {Romance}

A dose of some much needed Skonahem with a Valentine color palette! I just adore the cozy elegance of Swedish i n s p i r e d  interiors. The simple white palette, as you probably already know, is something I am trying to slowly work into my own home. Pops of color and organic, natural elements are a must in my home.

In favor of the month of love, I bring you some sexyness. How about that headboard?! Not too much sexy going on this weekend for me, with a yard sale tomorrow and Super Bowl party Sunday....I am going to have to get creative!

L o v i n g <3 the following inspiration images for my bedroom. We painted the wall behind our bed intellectual gray this weekend. Color found here from my dining room post. {still looking for the perfect pendant & I did paint that sophit. Looks much better now}. I am now on the hunt for the perfect shade of a lighter gray for the living room. I really like the gray found in this first image found here. Benjamin Moore classic gray. I'll add it to my list...

Rainy Day Schedule?

I only wish! It has been raining all day long here in AZ. We do not get many days like this. Today I just want to crawl back into my bed and cozy up with my book! This bedroom caught my eye...

I had a heck of a weekend...knocking out almost ALL of my Christmas shopping. Pretty darn amazing! Me and the bf shopped it up, and I added some hot items to my ever growing WISH LIST. (stay tuned) On top of the shopping, I had an allergic reaction to medication and broke out in hives on my face :(....seeing the Dermatologist in the morning! Wish me luck.

Bedroom Love

Now this is a statement {headboard + stripes} Done very tastefully with the gray & white with a pop of color. The pillows help pull it together & just a hint of Glam with the shiny surfaced light fixture. Loves it.

The New New

***Now featuring "Design Love", each week I will bring you something that I LOVE, and just maybe you will too! It may be an interior, trend, product or a beautifully handcrafted item. Really you never know what I could come up with. So you should probably stay tuned in. :)

This week: I am featuring Jayson Home and Garden, located in Chicago's Lincoln Park. I discovered them via the web and have always looked to their site for inspiration for projects etc. One of my favorite things about Jayson Home & Garden is the "Flea" section. I was really drawn in by this Vintage French chair. This vintage chair is complete with the original finish and is reupholstered in antique belgian grain sack. Each chair is unique and differs from the next! What can I say, I tend to have a thing for chairs.

Fun Bedrooms.....YES!

Make it yours! I really like the idea of the tree in the bedroom in the 1st and 2nd picture...mainly the 2nd with intergrating the skylight. How about that bold TEAL room! The wall treatment with the lighting for the platform bed is really neat, I haven't seen something like this before. Enjoy!

Your bedroom is like a safe haven from the world. It's ALL About YOU. It is the one place you go everynight and wake up to every morning...if you are waking up in a drab un-organized bedroom- do you find yourself waking up with tension or stress? Think about it... I beleive a well designed and functional space creates a happy enviroment, and the best place to start is your bedroom! I found some great bedroom images for inspiration. Don't be afraid to add a little drama with some COLOR!
