TEXTILE TUESDAYS

Today start's a new series.....TEXTILE TUESDAYS.

There really are so many aspects of design that can be alot of fun, with TEXTILES being one of them. Each week I will introduce a new textile company, so add to your resources ladies.

Donghia is a great line with an extensive collection of textiles. I visited the showroom at the Pacific Design Center while I was in LA last week on business and it was just fabulous! {more on that in a minute}  You may or may not recognize their fabrics from various magazines.

Harlequin is another textile line, they are based out of the U.K. and are represented in a number of showrooms in the U.S. Their textiles are fun and colorful and they have several collections.

With so many textile companies out there, I am just scratching the surface of possibilities. Are there any collections that you would love for me to feature? Do tell!

As for my LA business trip, it was a blast! We started at the Pacific Design Center which is HUGE compared to our design center in AZ. There was just so much to see. It was a really great inspirational trip and we found some great things for clients. I had lunch at the famous Ivy, which was delicious! Did some shopping on Robertson Blvd. and before we knew it we had to get back to the airport for our flight home! I did drive down Rodeo Drive as there wasn't enough time to walk it. I saw the Wilshire Hotel--drop dead gorgeousness. I was totally in love with all the flowers and trees in bloom. My favorite being the magnolia tree. Needless to say, the next LA business trip will include an overnight. I can't wait!
