Spring time in the desert is beautiful. Ecspecially this year because we have had so much rain. I took these pictures a few weeks ago during my hike up to Tom's Thumb from the back side of of Dynamite.

Thanks Mon! Well you have to watch for the rattlers. I have only ran into one once on a trail {knock on wood}. They typically are out early morning and sundown, so if you avoid those times you should be ok.

We just drove to Payson last weekend for a little break and were overwhelmed with the beauty of the desert. Love this time of year! Glad you were enjoying it too!
